PGDB-licensed plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying across the Waikato region — from Hamilton out to Raglan on the coast, Matamata to the east, and Te Kauwhata up north.
The Waikato is a big region — but for us, “regional” doesn’t mean “long way away.” Plumbway Ltd is based in Hamilton, and our regular service area covers the towns and rural areas right across the Waikato: from Cambridge and Te Awamutu in the south, out to Raglan on the west coast, north through Ngaruawahia and Huntly toward Te Kauwhata, and east through Morrinsville to Matamata.
Every member of our team is registered with the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board (PGDB) — and that registration covers us anywhere in New Zealand, including all four of the Waikato’s territorial councils. We’re also Site Safe members and fully insured.

Our main base — every Hamilton suburb covered for plumbing, gasfitting and drainage.

View RaglanThe Waikato is split across four territorial councils, and each one runs its own building consent and compliance process for plumbing and drainage:
We work across all four. Each council has its own quirks — different inspection sequences, different documentation, different stormwater rules — and getting that wrong is what causes drainage and plumbing jobs to drag on at sign-off. We know what each inspector expects.

Whatever the job, we’ve got it covered region-wide:
Plumbway Ltd serves Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Huntly, Ngaruawahia, Morrinsville, Matamata and Raglan, plus the smaller towns and rural areas in between. We're based in Hamilton and most of the Waikato is well within our standard service area.

Yes. Our 24/7 emergency plumbing service covers Hamilton and the wider Waikato. Response times are fastest within Hamilton, and somewhat longer for outer Waikato towns due to drive time — we'll give you an honest estimate when you call.
Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Morrinsville and Matamata generally have reticulated natural gas available in town areas. Rural properties throughout the Waikato — and towns like Raglan and many lifestyle blocks around the region — typically run on LPG. We work on both, with all the appropriate licensing.
